Here's mine - all one stone!

Read about the face recognition thing in a book I was reading on advertising (I'm doing Sociology!)

Sorry about the sand.  I didn't realise we were photographing them in situ.  When you two didn't mention it, I forgot, and he was just amongst my other souvenirs, then I had to find some sand to take his photograph, so you would think it was Malaysia, but I can see you can tell the difference, sorry. L

Think he looks like a pig here

Quite different this way up and round

And here like a puppy

And this is mine!

 With his cap on!

παρα εἴδωλον - could I just say, from the Greek, naturally!

How odd!

I just read about that facial recognition thing in the paper, it was a report on a UNSW study (Alright, University of New South Wales!)  Is that where you got it from?

Anyway, here's my Malaysia effort.

Did you know........

..... seeing face in inanimate objects is known as 'face pareidolia'?

I have several recent beachcombing examples.  After our struggle to find them in Malaysia (what happened to the competition Alex?) I seem to see them almost every step I take.  (See, another example of the benefits of a pebble beach!)

Here are a few:

Elephant

Badger

Dog
